Wolfscratch Performing Arts is raising funds for breast cancer research, benefitting the Emory Winship Foundation. It will be a THRILLING event! Donation suggestion is $50 per ticket, however any amount is appreciated and welcome. There is an Angel Donor who will match up to $10K!

The Thriller Project Fundraiser Event Details & FAQ's

 

WHAT:   The Thriller Project is a fundraiser to benefit Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. It is a “Dance Party with a Purpose,” directed by Wolfscratch Performing Arts and supported by over 70 volunteers, clubs, and organizations inside Big Canoe.

 

WHEN:  October 19, 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:30 PM

 

WHERE:  Big Canoe Racquet Club

WHAT to WEAR:  Costumes are welcome and encouraged!

​

COST:  This is a Ticket-by-donation event. We are suggesting a $50 minimum donation per person.  However, your donation of any amount will be gladly accepted and greatly appreciated.  For anyone donating $100 or more, per person, you will be invited to join Gail Grimmett, Chair of the Winship Advisory Board and Big Canoe resident, in her home for a special evening that will include experts presenting the most recent information available in the field of cancer research and treatment.  Date in 2025 TBD.

BONUS: An Angel Donor will match the first $10,000 we receive in donations! Your dollars count twice!

 

HOW TO DONATE FOR A TICKET​

  1. Online: Click here to donate for a ticket via credit card..You'll receive an email confirmation with your tickets.

  2. By Check:  â€‹Make checks payable to Wolfscratch Performing Arts providing the names of those attending through your donation. Take your check to the Big Canoe Racquet Club where you will be given a receipt that can be used as your “ticket.”​

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE MONEY I DONATE?

100% of the net proceeds go to our beneficiary Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.  Wolfscratch Performing Arts nor any of the volunteers supporting the project are receiving compensation.

WHAT IF I NEED A RECEIPT FOR TAX PURPOSES?

If you need a donation receipt with the FEIN number for tax purposes, you will need to donate directly to Winship on their website.  If you would like your donation to count towards the funds raised by the Thriller Project and you would like access to the event, you will need to provide proof of this donation to Wolfscratch Performing Arts for your “ticket” to the event.  To provide proof of this donation and to get your ticket, please contact thrillerproject2024@gmail.com.
